It's a pity, that I couldn't test all of them, because I lost my phone, my Hero, my dear :D
But it was only 1 week ago.
So my favourites:
There's no question about SenseHero 1.6. Lovely one. Fast/stable/beautiful
The other one is the Kimera 1.6. I couldn't test 1.7 and 1.8 yet (maybe tomorrow :D)
It is fast and stable too. APN list is small, so I had to backup->restore, but otherwise it is a great one.
Both of them is android 1.5.
I don't have any android 2.1, which I would recommend, as I run a company and I have to be able to pick up my phone in time, but usually when I use a slow ROM, I can not pick it up while listening to music, because it rings only 4 times at my carrier. And it's s*%ks.
(I didn't try the SenseHERO 2.2 yet! :)

Unlike Roland I do not rely on my phone for business so I do not need my phone to be 100% reliable but I want it feature packed. That's the reason why I choose 2.1 Roms.
Sense Hero 2.2. A Superb Rom! It's fast, reliable and full of features. It includes voice search, live wallpapers and 3d gallery although some of these need to be enabled by downloading packages here. The Rom includes a really good looking theme with a clear bar at the bottom. This Rom works really well and I would have to recommend it.
BeHero +. Another great Rom. BeHero + has the original Sense theme so it looks standard. However, this has many features like SenseHero and is very reliable and speedy.
I would recommend you give these two Roms a go if you want to unlock as many features as possible but still want a speedy and fairly reliable device.
