but I faced a lot of problems. so this ROM is to bring some good stuff from OpenEclair and CKDroid, with some modifications
Features:
-Fast & Stable !!
-OpenGL works great. (games work better than stock 1.5 with me)
-Gallery3D from Nexus one. ( but the rotate bug still exist )
-Live Wallpapers. (only some don't work)
-Bluetooth file sharing!
-Full Right-to-Left languages support. tested on Arabic (thanks to Ayman)
-Google Sync
-Multi-touch (even in Gallery3D)
Bugs:
-Camera works only on 3MP
-Gallery3D rotate thingy. I actually got used to it
-Facebook sync .. as usual :/
-a2dp "Bluetooth during calls" .. NOT TESTED !!
Notes:
to increase performance, use compcache in Spare Parts. it's included
special thanks: OpenEclair team, Exit93 (used some parts of CKDroid)

ReplyDeleteI think I could have ended up bricking my phone. I was browsing the v1.3] KiNgxKxKlair Eclair Hero 2.1 at the xda site. Although the name says Hero it appears that this rom is for the Dream.
Spent hours trying to understand the Death SPL thing and could just have killed my Hero.
No wonder you don't list this rom as it isn't meant for the Hero....or is it? still confused.
Exactly, ROM name doesnt mean that its for the hero, it meant that it brought the hero software + UI to other phone, either Dream,Magic,... not meant to be flashed on hero, start a thread on hero dev section http://fwd4.me/K3, im sorry i cant help u.
