Version 0.44 (April 13, 2010):

• Due to compatibility issues with the binaries in the kitchen (e.g. on 32-bit vs 64-bit systems), the scripts will now compile unyaffs/mkbootimg/mkbootfs when needed, to ensure they work for your platform. All the binaries from previous versions of the kitchen have been removed.
  • Mac OS X users now need to install "gcc" (C compiler) to use the kitchen. Please refer to the FAQ
• Improved Cygwin handling of liba2dp.so + libA2DP.so issue
  • Fixed the issue where some ROMs would stop flashing because the /system/lib folder was not created yet and thus couldn't copy libA2DP.so there
  • The fix will now only apply to Donut/Cupcake ROMs with Sense UI, not to other Donut/Cupcake ROMs.

Version 0.43 (April 12, 2010):

• Added new menu option that allow users to extract kernel and modules from another ROM
• When porting ROM, if busybox is referenced in init.rc, script will check if it exists in working folder, to avoid non-booting ROM issues
• When applying apps2sd, script will have better checks for apps2sd references in init.rc before writing to it
• Many minor revisions, mostly to improve the look and user-friendliness

Version 0.42 (April 11, 2010):

• When porting ROMs, if folder /system/modules exists in first ROM, then its files will be copied to second ROM (along with /system/lib/modules)
• Fixed error in version 0.41 when porting ROMs, where the boot.img was accidentally being copied to /system/lib/modules of second ROM
• Updated wireless tethering option so that it won't unpack or rebuild the boot.img if it doesn't need to modify the kernel (not a bug fix really, just making the script more efficient)

Version 0.41 (April 10, 2010):

• Fixed issue during porting, where the wrong kernel base address was used if the first ROM's device type is unknown or "other"
• Simplified kitchen so that the messy *.cfg files are not used as often or left over
• HTC Magic / myTouch users will no longer be prompted for board type

Version 0.40 (April 9, 2010):

• Added Zipalign option and binaries; works for *.apk in both /system/app and /data/app
• Updated version of wireless tether app
• If extracting a cooked ROM but the update ZIP file contains system.img, script will notify user to use Option 1 instead
• Fixed issue where *.ZIP file (all capitals) wasn't detected when trying extract custom ROM in Linux or Mac OS X (but *.zip was ok)
• Reorganized the menu items
