You may or may not be aware, VillainROM has its own kitchen, created by our very own Kendon. It's an outstanding tool available to donators. Please be aware that the kitchen will be updated to the modified 5.4 within the next few days.
OTA INFO
This is the first ROM you can update to using the OTA updater. This process should be regarded as Alpha on this occasion, as it is the first major update carried out publicly (I tested 5.2 to 5.3, but YMMV). Use OTA at your own risk. It shouldn't wipe data.

ReplyDeleteSome very good ideas in this ROM, e.g. I liked the look of the notification bar very much and the OTA updater, but I had issues with freezing homescreens and FCs and I´m back at Legendroid. If you like to see what is possible and flash all the time, this is a nice Rom, but it´s still not relieable as an everyday ROM.
ReplyDeleteHad a rougth start, home screen would only desplay htc logo underneath lock screen, the ota update worked flawlessly, still unable to get live wallpapers working, any help would be great.HTC HERO, GRAPHITE. PS keep up the great work, looking forword to the theme update function

ReplyDeleteGreat ROM, love the UI, but where's the news & weather widget...couldn't find it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm having some wifi connection problems (using 5.4; it's not my connection, other non-ROM'd android devices connect fine). It could be sitting next to the router and have full wifi signal bars, but when I go to the browser I get a no signal page and when I go to android market, it keeps telling me to retry connecting...(I have WPA2 encryption if that matters)
